A great Canadian moment - repeated across the land between April and June (not counting the west coast of course, where it's always green - smug bastards!)
smug indeed! i'd like to try living somewhere i could be smug about the weather.... we Canadians do make an awful fuss about spring, don't we? i guess we're pretty proud of ourselves for having survived another winter. i noticed in the Memeza Africa website that they're in your neck of the woods in early May..... they'll get a taste of Canadian spring there, at least.
I'm a musician and music teacher, living in a gorgeous old house in a small town in northern Alberta, Canada. I'm living a simple life, growing a garden filled with delicious vegetables, fruits, and soul nourishing flowers, bartering with nearby producers of organic meats, fruits and veggies. I host house concerts for Canada's Home Routes concert series featuring fantastic live music from all over the Americas.
