Melody

the results are in. after taking submissions from my violin students for a name for my beauteous new harp, and giving everyone a vote in the final results are in. allow me to introduce you to Melody Valentine. the first name was suggested by Justin, who is now the proud owner of his own electronic chromatic tuner. the second name was suggested by Aidan, who is now the proud possessor of his very own electronic metronome.

Nice name for your harp.

We recently attended the Cantorion Cymreig Victorian Welsh Choir Concert which also featured a wonderful harpist whose contagious wit and playing was highly entertaining. There was also another Welsh Folk group including the Choirs Conductor, who is an accomplished harpist, made up of, Harp, Vocals, Bass Guitar and syntheiser, Flute, Violin, Acoustic Guitar, and an AUSTRALIAN DIDGERIDOO!!

Best wishes

LL - the one really disappointing thing about living in a small, isolated town, is the lack of opportunities to take in shows like that. that last group you mention sounds like something i'd love to see/hear! not that the others aren't... but i do lean slightly towards the quirky, and original.
